Terms of service

1. Clean Season's role
Clean Season connects customers with independent professionals (“pros”) who perform the services booked on the platform anywhere in Canada: snow removal, cleaning and vehicle care. Clean Season manages booking, payment, proof of service and claim handling.
2. Booking and payment
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Time slots are in the local time of the service address.
- Express option: booking possible up to 3 hours before the service, with a surcharge of 50% of the service price (minimum $15.00), shown before payment. The job is offered to pros first; until one takes it, you can cancel free of charge with a full refund.
- The price shown before payment, taxes included, is the price you pay. For snow removal, it depends on the snow forecast at the time of booking.
- Payment is processed by Stripe; Clean Season stores no card data.
- Free cancellation and full refund as long as no pro has taken the booking.
3. Your commitments
- The vehicle is accessible at the chosen address and time slot (parking allowed, no obstacle).
- The vehicle details (type, plate) are accurate.
- Valuables are removed from the vehicle; no key is handed to the pro unless agreed in writing.
- You report any known fragility in advance (antenna, roof accessory, already damaged paint…).
4. Check-in inspection and proof of service
On arrival, before any work, the pro photographs the vehicle from at least four angles and notes existing damage. At the end, they photograph the result. These photos are time-stamped, geolocated when possible, protected against tampering (digital fingerprint) and available in your account. They are the reference for any claim.
5. Reporting a problem
- Any problem (damage, incomplete service, lateness or no-show) is reported from the booking page, with photos, within 48 hours after the service ends.
- During that period, the pro's earnings are held; they are frozen while a report is under review.
- Clean Season reviews each report using the check-in inspection, the result photos and both parties' explanations, then communicates its decision: full or partial refund, a new visit, or a reasoned rejection.
- A late report can still be sent to support; it will be reviewed, but evidence will be harder to establish.
6. What is not covered
Subject to the rights guaranteed to you by law, the following are not grounds for a claim:
- damage already present and documented in the check-in inspection;
- normal wear and pre-existing defects revealed when clearing snow or ice (weakened parts, seals, wipers, antennas already damaged);
- snow deposited after the pro's visit (snowplough, new snowfall);
- a service made impossible because the vehicle was inaccessible, or interrupted for safety reasons (storm, freezing rain, weather warning).
7. Liability and insurance
Pros are independent contractors responsible for the damage they cause; liability insurance is recommended to them. If damage caused during the service is established by the review of a report, Clean Season arranges compensation with the pro (and their insurer, if any), and may refund all or part of the service.
8. Weather and force majeure
Forecasts shown are indicative. In dangerous conditions, the service may be postponed or cancelled; a booking cancelled for this reason is fully refunded.
